Meet Guy

Guy is Joint Chief Executive of Walker Hamill. He joined the firm in 1993 and leads our activities in private equity and related sectors. He was initially Head of Banking & Financial Services and became Joint Chief Executive in 2000, co-leading the management team which successfully steered Walker Hamill through two management buyouts, in 2002 and 2005. Guy’s key focus is private equity, where he works with all types of growth and buyout funds, fund of funds, secondaries funds, venture funds, family offices and endowments. He covers both investment positions and other senior roles in functions such as fund finance and investor relations. Besides providing recruitment services, he also assists clients with topics such as team structure, annual remuneration reviews and bespoke referencing. He sits on the advisory board of IPEC (INSEAD) and a number of fund remuneration committees. Guy is a graduate of Loughborough University.
