An introduction to our Private Equity & Growth Capital team
We commit significant resources to extensive mapping of our target candidate pools and have developed a rigorous, search-based approach to all of our work, regardless of the level of candidate sought. Along with conventional recruitment and search work, we also assist private equity investors with bespoke remuneration surveys, advice on organisational structure and specific referencing assignments.
As a wider business, we work across various other financial disciplines including accountancy & finance, corporate development & strategy and mergers & acquisitions.
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion within Private Equity & Growth Capital
With experience spanning four decades, we’ve already navigated various hiring shifts and trends, but none has been more defining, nor more critical than the ongoing drive for diversity in private equity workforces – across all functions but most notably within investment teams. Our team has been at the forefront of this shift, constantly developing strategies to ensure that our clients are presented with diversity – of all types – within each shortlist that we compile.
By systematically mapping each and every candidate pool that we consider, we can provide our clients with real-time information on the diversity of those pools and then work with them to ensure they have every opportunity to consider and attract diverse candidates. Likewise, we maintain detailed statistics on all aspects of diversity across private equity and can therefore provide accurate insights into the latest successes – and failures.
We created a dedicated DE&I role within our team in 2021 and have since published various thought pieces on the state of diversity and inclusion within the European Private Equity and Growth Capital space. In particular, we have developed proven views on how our clients can improve their recruitment processes.
We are genuinely proud of the role that we’ve played to date in advancing all aspects of diversity in the private equity industry and we will continue to be at the forefront of this initiative in the years to come.
