Description

The responsibilities of the Finance Systems Improvement Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the implementation of a new finance system and support in the transition to the new platform.
  • Manage and lead process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy for the operational finance team.
  • Design and implement new reporting processes across the finance function.
  • Provide analytical support to the operational finance team and create reports accordingly.
  • Support key business decisions through analysis of financial data and reporting.
  • Partner with stakeholders across departments to ensure the new finance systems are operating effectively.
  • Assist with the delivery of the internal audit programme.

Skills

The skills of the Finance Systems Improvement Analyst include but are not limited to:

  • Strong Excel skills essential.
  • Proven experience and a keen interest in implementing new systems and processes.
  • Ability to analyse large datasets and understand key trends.
  • Clear presentation and communication skills.
  • An understanding of internal audit processes.
  • Power BI and Microsoft Dynamics (desirable).
