Our client, a PE backed, high growth manufacturer, is looking for a talented Senior Accounts Assistant to join their team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for the full accounts payable process and the implementation of new controls and procedures. The successful candidate will have at least four years of experience in a finance function and be confident in driving automation.

Description

The responsibilities of the Senior Accounts Assistant role include but are not limited to:

  • Manage the full end-to end accounts payable process.
  • Lead in the automation of process simplification and automation.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, payment runs, bank payments and payroll.
  • Manage the expenses process.
  • Drive process improvement and look for ways to simplify existing processes.

Skills

The skills of the Senior Accounts Assistant role include but are not limited to:

  • Previous, relevant experience of working in an accounts payable function.
  • Able to demonstrate previous process improvement / automation.
  • Advanced Excel.
  • Confident with accounting software and eager to add value through implementing change.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Team player who is flexible and can multitask.
