Description
Our client is a PE-backed clean energy group, offering practical and localised solutions to grid decarbonisation and flexibility. Due to natural growth, they now are looking for a driven and highly numerate Head of FP&A and Financial Modelling to lead their FP&A and financial modelling functions.
Your core responsibilities will be, firstly, running the regular forecasting and budgeting cadence, ensuring that the senior leadership team have access to accurate and reliable management information to support their decision making, and, secondly, leading the financial modelling work within the business, supporting ongoing transactions and other strategic projects such as debt refinancing. The successful candidate will also drive systems and process improvement within the finance function, and mentor a small team.
Skills
For this Head of FP&A and Financial Modelling role, our client is seeking a driven, numerate, and highly capable candidate, probably with a background either in an investment bank or the transactions team of a leading accounting firm. Excellent modelling skills are an absolute prerequisite, as is previous exposure to M&A transactions or debt/ equity raises. Experience of FP&A would also be highly useful, as would knowledge of the clean energy sector.
