Our client, a leading global technology platform, is looking for a talented Management Accountant to join the London team and play a critical part in driving the company's growth strategy. The successful candidate will be a part-qualified accountant and have previous experience in preparing financial reports for multiple entities.
Description
The responsibilities of the Group Management Accountant role include but are not limited to:
- Complete month-end close for relevant trading companies.
- Process intercompany recharges.
- Maintain fixed asset registers.
- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with forecasts and budget process.
- Prepare year-end audit pack for four companies.
- Act as key subsidiary contact with auditors during both half year and full year reviews.
- Assist in preparation of subsidiary financial statements.
- Support on any sales tax returns.
Skills
The skills of the Group Management Accountant role include but are not limited to:
- Part-Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) actively studying and has passed exams (not just exemptions).
- Previous management accounts experience within in a similar role.
- Previous experience with IFRS highly desirable.
- Previous experience with month end close, working to tight deadlines.
- Strong Excel skills and previous use of NetSuite is highly desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise and handle multiple projects simultaneously with support from senior team members.
- Deadline focused without reducing attention to detail.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work independently.
- Hard working with professional integrity and resilience.
