Description

The Senior Finance Manager will be required, over time, to migrate finance from their current outsourced partner in the Netherlands and offers the opportunity to truly shape the financial processes and controls of the company from the ground up. This role is critical to the ongoing management and growth of the studio and provides the opportunity to bring real finance process improvement and insight into its business performance and growth opportunities.

Reporting to the company founders with a dotted line to the Group Controller and working alongside the Group finance teams, the Senior Finance Manager is accountable for IFRS reporting, finance operations, commercial finance, tax and treasury and the internal finance process and control environment and governance.

Skills

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a solid understanding of IFRS standards and statutory requirements. Experience of Dutch GAAP would be useful but is not essential. You will be a problem solver, able to build new processes and constantly adapt the finance function to remain relevant to the needs of a fast-growing studio. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential, as is the ability to build effective relationships and strategically influence key stakeholders inside and outside of finance teams.
