With revenues exceeding £300m and a strong EBITDA the business has seen growth through multiple acquisitions over the last few years alone. Due to this and their market position the business is often the preferred provider of care within multiple settings and regions, helping to strengthen their growth across the wider sector. The company has received significant investment over the course of the last few years to help facilitate and accelerate their expansion.

Description

A rare opportunity has been created to bring on board a Director of Finance to the Group Finance function. Reporting directly to the CFO this role will lead all the technical finance across the Group, including the accounting operations and making sure the results are timely and accurate.  Covering cash flow and debt management, actively managing working capital and maintaining constant dialogue with the lenders will be a key part of this role. In addition to being the key contact for the banks, the role will look into bank account governance, with the potential to take on a VAT restructuring project. The Director of Finance position will be an important business partner to the CFO, being a leader of a significant team, bringing ideas to senior leadership meetings and providing a value add service to the wider business.

Skills

Candidates for this Director of Finance role will need to be qualified accountants (ACA/CA or equivalent) with prior experience working as a Group Financial Controller or Head of Finance in a leveraged environment/business, as well as exposure working in ‘multisite’ sectors. Applicants will need to have a track record of strong team leadership, ideally across multiple locations. Prior experience of working in a PE backed or privately owned businesses with an exit/transaction, as well as working in a highly acquisitive business is desirable. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to take on an exciting, value add, Director of Finance role in an impactful and community centred business.
