The appointed candidate will take on a diverse role, supporting key operational functions across the firm, including treasury, fund finance, data, and fundraising. There will also be significant exposure to front office transaction management, where you will play a key role in supporting the deal closing processes. This will involve collaborating closely with various teams to ensure the efficient and timely execution of transactions, providing valuable insights into the entire deal lifecycle.
This is a great opportunity for professionals with a middle-office background, ideally from a bank or large asset manager, looking to transition into private markets.
Description
- Loan Closing: Oversee and coordinate the deal closing process within the Co-Invest strategy and Joint Venture, working with internal teams and external counterparties to ensure timely completion and funding.
- Liquidity Planning: Support the treasury team in preparing and maintaining liquidity reports, managing cash flows efficiently within mezzanine strategy funds and Co-Invest.
- FX Reporting: Prepare and maintain FX reports to assist the treasury team in monitoring FX exposure and hedging positions within junior funds.
- Fund Financing: Manage subscription and leverage facilities, including loan drawdowns, repayments, interest confirmations, fee calculations, and loan rollovers, while ensuring compliance with borrowing bases and certificates.
- Data Integrity: Collaborate across teams to ensure accurate recording of activities in the accounting system and implement controls to maintain data accuracy.
- Fundraising Support: Assist the fundraising team with capital-raising initiatives by preparing cash flow projections and portfolio data for marketing materials.
- Process Automation: Contribute to automation projects by working with the finance teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Skills
- Educated to Bachelors degree level, with a 2:1 minimum.
- 2-3 years in a financial services role, ideally with experience working with debt and equity instruments.
- Treasury experience desirable.
- Strong ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Excellent MS Word and Excel skills.
