Our client is an established private equity mid-market investment firm with over €10bn under management. With multiple successful funds and several offices globally, they are now looking to expand their corporate accounting team by adding a Finance Manager.
The Finance Manager will help co-ordinate and review their consolidated management accounts, assist with the budgeting & forecasting processes, coordinate all compliance and tax matters, as well as help develop and manage a direct report.
Description
This Finance Manager role will suit someone who is happy to work in a hardworking team and is prepared to help the team out where needed by covering a broad range of tasks. An open, learning mindset is advantageous, as there is opportunity to gain exposure to other facets of the firm across tax, VAT, deals and transactions, and to understand why businesses are structured a certain way in private equity.
Skills
The skills and experience required for this Finance Manager role include but are not limited to:
- ACA qualified, having trained in a reputable accounting firm before 2-3 years experience working in a group finance function.
- Ideally some private equity exposure, or in lieu exposure to wider FS.
- A proactive and hardworking approach, able to cope with very busy periods at certain times of the financial year.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Team and people management skills.
