Private Equity

We are working with a client that is the well-established private equity arm of a listed business. The private equity business manages c. £1bn of investments across a variety of sectors and unlike traditional PE, operates on a evergreen strategy and isn't beholden to usual PE cycles of acquisition / exit. Their incumbent Portfolio Executive is moving internally so they are now looking to hire someone from an accountancy practice background to be responsible for their portfolio activities.

Description

As a Portfolio Executive, you will be responsible for the monitoring and analysis of a portfolio of investments, reporting to the board and working closely with management company teams to ensure a robust reporting of data. This will also include conducting the quarterly valuations and presenting regularly to senior stakeholders. The incumbent will be around to help in the first six months and through the first valuation cycle so hopefully there will be a good level of support.

The firm has a strong family-style and close-knit culture that underpins everything they do from their investment process through to how their people are expected to perform and operate within the business.

  • ACA (or equivalent) highly desirable.
  • Highly presentable with good communication skills and ability to cultivate relationships across a broad range of stakeholders.
