Description

Due to the potential M&A pipeline, we are now seeking a high-calibre Senior M&A Manager for the Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team. This is a key hire for the team and an opportunity for the right individual to bring a highly competent M&A/corporate finance skill set to the business. You will work on the evaluation and execution of M&A transactions undertaken by the group, including buy-side and sell-side transactions, joint ventures, and partnerships. Day to day project management of complex M&A/corporate finance transactions including leading junior colleagues and interacting across Business Units, Corporate Centre functions, external advisers and counterparties.

In addition, you will undertake extensive financial analysis, including merger analysis, valuation, cash flow analysis, credit analysis and will contribute to creative solutions for M&A and corporate finance transactions undertaken by the company. You will possess the ability to build from first principles, complex financial models for valuing assets and financial impact analysis. You will prepare internal presentations for senior team members, senior executives of Business Units and/or the Group executives, relating to transactions under consideration. In addition, you will remain fully conversant with all capital market developments, including M&A techniques, listing Rules, and other relevant regulatory or market developments.

Skills

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a finance qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or equivalent. You will be in an M&A or Corporate Finance related team within a listed corporate, part of an M&A team in an Investment Bank / Corporate Finance boutique or a corporate finance related team within public practice. You will possess exceptional financial analysis skills, experience of M&A/corporate finance transactions and will have strong leadership skills.

In addition, you will have previous exposure in dealing with Senior Executives directly or their key team members in relation to M&A/corporate finance transactions in a highly confidential environment.
