This has lead to highly successful outcomes for the firm's investors over the past two decades. There now exists an opportunity for a talented individual to join the experienced team as an Investment Associate.

Description

As an Associate, your key areas of responsibility will include the following:

  • Supporting M&A and capital markets transactions, including reverse takeovers, restructurings, and other complex investment structures.
  • Collaborating with portfolio company management teams to develop analytics frameworks that improve business performance.
  • Leading the development of advanced financial models for investment evaluation, portfolio performance tracking, and strategic decision-making.
  • Designing, building, and optimising models to assess deal structures, valuations, and financial forecasts.
  • Integration of broader data analytics and automation (beyond traditional spreadsheets) to enhance investment insights.
  • Leveraging AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics tools to improve risk assessment and operational efficiency.

Skills

  • Strong academic background, probably augmented by an accountancy or similar financial qualification.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling, forecasting, and scenario analysis (advanced Excel required).
  • Familiarity with data visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau) and AI-driven analytics applications.
  • Experience with SQL, Python, R, or similar tools for data analysis and automation would be helpful.
  • Commercially astute, able to work independently, and proactively contribute to investment decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—able to work cross-functionally with investment professionals, portfolio companies, and external stakeholders.
