Description
We are recruiting an important role for the Group Finance team that will sit in the corporate HQ, responsible for providing in-depth analysis of company performance to the leadership team. The FP&A Manager will allow the Board to better understand business trends, providing support on all key decision making. Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the position will have significant exposure to the CEO and CFO, as well as to divisional Presidents and Vice Presidents and their teams.
Specific responsibility will include in depth analysis and interpretation of weekly sales and monthly results, including gap analysis versus forecast and prior year, as well as trend and to-go analysis. The FP&A Manager will identify areas of opportunity in risk to help improve divisional and group performance, and to facilitate CEO and CFO decision making. The role will also provide concise and clear reporting to the CEO, CFO and other Board members, explaining Group performance, outlook, and key risks and opportunities.
Additional responsibilities include analysis of key markets, including current and expected trends, as well as managing the Group’s strategic five year planning process to create a robust and ambitious plan aligned to Group strategy. The role will contribute to the Group’s annual forecast processes, helping to challenge forecasts and ensure plans are robust and ambitious.
The FP&A Manager will also support the Group’s investor relations activity, along with various ad hoc reporting and analysis.
Skills
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate high levels of drive and ambition, along with natural curiosity and strong analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, to articulate complex ideas with clarity and to communicate with a wide audience of senior stakeholders across various disciplines.
Candidates will need strong financial acumen, with a professional accounting qualification preferred, along with strong business acumen and the ability to think creatively. High standards of accuracy and precision, as well as excellent planning and organisational skills are required, with a professional demeanour that allows strong relationships to be built across an international business.
The role will suite a strong team player who is resilient and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with tight deadlines to deliver results.
