Our client is a newly formed and Europe focused activist fund who are looking to expand their high performing investment team.
Description
Our client has a strong track record in mid-cap investing (€1-10bn market cap) and will take over an existing portfolio and capital to start with. The fund employs deep, private equity-style research and active engagement to drive value. With a concentrated (target) portfolio of 8-15 positions and a long-term growth target of €2-2.5bn AUM, this is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact investment team in London.
The role involves conducting detailed, fundamental research to uncover investment opportunities and engaging directly with management teams, boards, and investors to create value. You will play a key role in supporting the team’s focus on specific industries and regions, across Europe, while contributing to the fund’s activist investment strategy.
Skills
Ideal candidates will have 2-6 years of experience in either the advisory industry (such as equity research, M&A banking, or leveraged finance) or the investment industry (private equity, public investing, etc.) combined with strong commercial and financial modelling skills. A collaborative mindset, excellent work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a team oriented, high responsibility environment are essential.
