Our client is a highly acquisitive PE backed international marketing business based in central London. With a strong acquisition pipeline, there is an opportunity for an experienced Finance Transformation Lead to integrate these businesses post-acquisition and then look to ensure that the business can continue to scale appropriately with the correct systems and processes in place.
The successful candidate for this Interim Finance & Operations Transformation Lead role will be a qualified Accountant with previous post-acquisition integration experience in PE backed organisations of a similar size and who enjoys adding value through change, transformation and process improvement.
Description
The duties and responsibilities for this Interim Finance & Operations Transformation Lead role include but are not limited to:
- Post-acquisition integration of systems and operating models, resulting in more uniform financial reporting.
- Work closely with the wider finance team to ensure group accounting policies, transfer pricing and balance sheet accounts are set up correctly.
- Drive the development and execution of a detailed project plan, managing timelines, resources and budget.
- Review existing systems and processes and scale appropriately in order to continue providing the support and governance required by the business.
- Oversee the evaluation, selection and implementation of any potential additional financial systems to be used across the integrated businesses.
Skills
The skills and experience required for this Interim Finance & Operations Transformation Lead role include but are not limited to:
- Qualified accountant with an understanding of different accounting rules in new regions will be required as new businesses are integrated.
- Previous experience of complex integrations (mid market in terms of size).
- Transformation experience – systems and processes within a finance function.
- Worked with PE backed organisations looking to scale up.
